St Stephen’s College cut off:
Last week St Stephen’s College had released its cut-off. The cut off was higher than that of last year, Following St Stephen’s trend where the highest cut-off was for BA (Hon) Economics at 99.25 percent, other colleges would also increase their cut-offs this year as compared to last year.
This year around 5.63 lakh candidates have registered for undergraduate courses in Delhi University. 1.83 lakh students have registered for the postgraduate courses and nearly 34,000 registration IDs were received for M.phil and Ph.D. courses. The Delhi University’s official registration data records show that the maximum number of applicants, a total of 1, 42,526 are from Delhi, followed by 66,657 applicants from Uttar Pradesh and 50,701 applicants from Haryana.
Delhi University cannot be released before October end due to a shortage of resources as well as manpower. However, the court has asked the University to inform it on the next date of hearing about the percentage of answer sheets evaluated and the status of integration of the answer sheets, which were sent by students both via email and the Open Book Exam portal, before adjourning the matter.
